LAP Green Network of Libya was on saturday awarded 75 percent shareholding in ZAMTEL following a successful bidding process.Over 300 Million US Dollars will be invested by the Libyan firm following the announced 75 percent shareholding take over in Zamtel. Expectations among Zambians are seemingly high as the future of ZAMTEL operations appears to have brightened especially that ZAMTEL was embattled with financial constraints.The Libyan firm is known to have invested significant amounts of resources and has


a huge resource base with telecom firms established in seven African countries.
